हाल ही में माइक्रोमैक्स अपनी नई फैबलेट, माइक्रोमैक्स कैनवस जूस ए77 को 7,999 रुपए की कीमत के साथ लॉंच करने की तैयारी कर चुकी है। घरेलू फोन बाजार में माइक्रोमैक्स ने जो स्थान हासिल किया है वह वाकई तारीफ के काबिल है और अपने इस स्थान को बरकरार रखने के लिए माइक्रोमैक्स कंपनी समय-समय पर अपने अपडेटेड डिवाइस और वो भी कम बजट पर लॉंच करती जा रही है।

अब बात करें माइक्रोमैक्स के इस नए उत्पाद माइक्रोमैक्स कैनवस जूस ए77 की तो इसकी 5.7 इंच और 854 Xड्डद्वश्च; 480 पिक्सल वाली स्क्रीन है। 1.3 गीगाहर्ट्ज वाले एमटी6572 डुअल कोर प्रोसेसर से संचालित माइक्रोमैक्स कैनवस जूस ए77 1 जीबी रैम के सपोर्ट से चलता है और 4.2 एंड्रायड जेलीबीन ऑपरेटिंग सिस्टम पर काम करता है। इतना ही नहीं इस फोन में एलईडी वाला 5 मेगापिक्सल रियर कैमरा और 0.3 मेगापिक्सल रियर कैमरा भी मौजूद है। इस फोन में 4जीबी इंटरनल मेमोरी भी है जो एसडी कार्ड की सहायता से 32 जीबी तक बढ़ाई जा सकती है। इसके अलावा इस फोन में 3जी, वाइ-फाइ, ब्लूटूथ 4.0 और डुअल सिल (जीएसएम+जीएसएम) की सुविधा भी उपलब्ध है।

माइक्रोमैक्स कैनवस जूस ए77 मोबाइल फोन का वजन करीब 100.5 ग्राम है और इसकी बैटरी 3000एमएएच वाली है। हालांकि अभी माइक्रोमैक्स कैनवस जूस ए77 फैबलेट अभी बाजार में उपलब्ध नहीं है लेकिन ऑनलाइन शॉपिंग साइट होमशॉप 18 पर यह फोन प्री ऑर्डर के लिए तैयार है।

iPad Air review

News: Remember "thinnovation"? That was Apple's tagline when it first introduced theMacBook Air, a laptop so skinny it could fit in a manila envelope. Six years later, the company did something similar with its tablet lineup by introducing the iPad Air. As its name suggests, the Air comes with a revamped design that sheds almost half a pound of weight, along with a couple millimeters of thickness and a significant amount of bezel area. At the same time, it maintains the same 9.7-inch Retina display that defined the last two iPads. While that's impressive enough in its own right, Apple also managed to make the device more powerful, thanks to the same A7 chip that already powers the iPhone 5s.

The one part of the iPad Air that isn't any thinner or lighter is its price, which starts at the usual $499 for a 16GB WiFi-only model. From there, the MSRP goes as high as $929 for the most expensive configuration (that's the WiFi + Cellular model with 128 gigs of storage). As always, the Air is entering a highly competitive market just in time for the holidays. So will its strong performance and super-thin frame be enough to make you upgrade come November 1st? Fujifilm launches mid-tier X-E2 and XQ1 cameras with fast imaging and WiFi

The refined image processing from Fujifilm's X100s and X20 is at last reaching more affordable cameras: welcome the X-E2 and X-Q1. The X-E2 is a direct upgrade to the X-E1 that brings the company's 16.3-megapixel X-Trans CMOS II sensor and EXR Processor II to a mid-tier interchangeable lens design, giving welcome boosts to both the image quality and autofocusing speed. Software upgrades like split image display and 60 fps 1080p video come along with the new hardware, and there's both WiFi photo transfers as well as a much sharper one-megapixel, three-inch preview LCD. The X-E2 will ship in November for $1,000 in body-only form, or $1,400 when paired with an 18-55mm f/2.8-4 zoom lens.

Photographers looking for a more pocketable shooter will want to look at the XQ1. The 12-megapixel compact cam is a spiritual successor to the XF1 that ditches the faux leather look in favor of a plainer, smaller body. It still has a non-removable 25-100mm f/1.8-4.9 lens, but it gets the X-E2's image processing upgrades and WiFi. An improved three-inch, 920,000-pixel LCD is present as well. The XQ1 should arrive later this month for $500.

NTT Docomo's winter lineup arrives, includes Sony Xperia Z1 mini and Samsung Galaxy J

  

As is tradition this time of year, NTT Docomo's annual winter/spring lineup has just fallen in our laps, unveiling a slew of devices that includes ten smartphones, a tablet, two feature phones, a photo panel and two mobile WiFi routers. On the smartphone front, several standouts include the new LG G2, the Galaxy Note 3, the Sony Xperia Z1, the Sony Xperia Z1 f and the odd Japan-only Samsung Galaxy J. The latter two are of particular interest, as this marks their first official unveiling. The Xperia Z1 f is essentially a miniaturized Xperia Z1 -- it has a 4.3-inch screen instead of a 5-inch one -- and packs in specs that are similar to its bigger brother, such as a 2.2GHz MSM8974 Snapdragon 800 processor and a 20.7-megapixel camera. The Galaxy J, meanwhile, has a 5-inch 1080p Super AMOLED display, a 2.3GHz Snapdragon 800 processor and a 13.2-megapixel camera.

Apple iMac review (2013)

This is an "s" year for Apple, and no, we're not just talking about the iPhone. In addition to announcing the iPhone 5s, the company refreshed its MacBook Air line with Haswell processors, leaving everything else unchanged. Now, Apple's come outwith some new iMacs, and these, too, are basically the same as last year's, just with fresh components inside. The difference, though, is that while the MacBook Air is getting a bit long in the tooth, the iMac was just revamped a year ago -- and it's still a tempting product. Like the 2012 models, this year's iMac comes in 21.5- and 27-inch screen sizes, with low-glare displays and a thin bezel that measures just 5mm thick.

This time around, as you'd expect, Apple's added Haswell processors, along with newer NVIDIA GPUs, faster 802.11ac WiFi and optional PCIe SSDs for faster transfer rates. Given that we've already been recommending the iMac, and given that the entry prices have stayed the same ($1,299 / $1,799), it seems obvious that spec bumps like these would make a great product even better. But you also want to know how the new machine performs, don'tcha? Sure you do. Read on for some performance numbers (and a recap of the design too, if you missed it the first time).

Verizon's new 4G LTE router has a landline jack, offers a peek at the future of online

Verizon has a new 4G LTE home internet router that includes voice, and it's meant to replace your home phone line and cable internet subscriptions in one fell swoop. The "Verizon 4G LTE Broadband Router with Voice" (rolls right off the tongue!) packs in WiFi connectivity as well as three Ethernet ports and a phone line jack for your landline. Up to 10 devices can connect to it wirelessly, though we wouldn't suggest as much given the LTE connectivity.

Should you choose to pick one up ($50 w/ two-year plan or $200 outright), there are a few options for subscription: data only, voice and data, or just voice. Initially, if you snag that voice-and-data plan, the router itself is actually free -- and it's available starting today. Of course, as CNET points out, Verizon's "Share Everything" data plans come with limitations (notably, data caps) and that means you'd better be a pretty light internet user (or employing the service for a brief period, like a vacation). 

Interestingly, Novatel Wireless -- the company behind Verizon's new LTE router hardware -- is also offering its own, non-carrier-branded version of the same device, dubbed, "MiFi Home." The price and release date for MiFi Home varies from carrier to carrier -- a Novatel Wireless rep tells Engadget, "MiFi Home is offered through our carrier partners and distribution so pricing is set by our carrier partners."

Nest reportedly working on smart smoke detector dubbed Protect

Now that Nest has rolled out its second-gen smart thermostat, it looks like it's gearing up to reveal its next project: an intelligent smoke detector dubbed Protect. Jessica Lessin, formerly of the Wall Street Journal, first broke word of the device and now AllThingsD is chiming in to confirm its existence. Specifics are slim, but it's said Protect will connect to the outfit's existing A/C hardware (presumably over Bluetooth), lending it long battery life since it won't need a WiFi chip. Lessin notes that a subscription-based monitoring service and the ability to sense carbon monoxide have been considered, but ATD's sources say the contraption won't be tied to a monthly fee. An official unveiling is expected to occur soon, and retail availability could come by year's end. Now that intelligent smoke detectors appear poised to head into homes soon, we can only hope they're as charming as Gilbert Gottfried.

Apple updates iMac with Haswell chips, available today starting at $1,299

While you would be excused for thinking the iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c were Apple's latest offerings, you'd be wrong. Today, Cupertino has announced that the iMac range has been updated to include new silicon (Haswell) new GPUs and improved WiFi. The entry-level 21.5-inch iMac houses a 2.7GHz quad-core Intel Core i5 with iris Pro graphics, while the top spec version (both sizes) comes with 3.4GHz and NVIDIA GeForce 700 series graphics, plus the option to upgrade to core i7 at 3.5 GHz. That WiFi refresh brings "next gen" 802.11ac, and there's also support for PCIe-based flash storage meaning up to 3TB of Fusion drive, or 1TB SSD. The new models are available today, starting at $1,299 for the 21.5-inch, and $1,799 for the bigger display.

Sony unveils bevy of Walkman devices, puts premium on hi-res audio playback

If you prefer Walkman hardware instead of its app incarnation, Sony's got a fleet of new models for you to consider. Headlining the new gadgets are the ZX1 and F880 series, which boast a 1GHz dual-core processor, 854 × 480 touch screen, WiFi, Bluetooth, NFC, an "S-Master HX" digital amp and high-res audio playback (192kHz/24bit) in AIFF, ALAC, FLAC and WAV. Since they both run full-fledged Android 4.1, the mobile players have access to Google Play and can run games and other apps. A silver ZX1 will hit Japanese shelves on December 7th with 128GB of storage in tow, and set audiophiles back the princely sum of 75,000 yen, or roughly $760. The F880 line will arrive in the manufacturer's homeland in 16GB, 32GB and 64GB options -- each available in black, blue, pink or white -- priced at 27,000, 30,000 and 40,000 yen (in the neighborhood of $273, $304 and $405), respectively.

Sony's positioned the new S series Walkmans as its battery life-conscious option, as it squeezes out about 77 hours of music playback with a 320 × 240 LCD and up to 32GB of space. Endurance music listeners will be able to snag the device for as little 18,000 yen (approximately $182) come October 19th. Also available alongside the marathon-minded portables is the E line of players, which has just 4GB of storage and starts at 11,000 yen (around $111). The M series packs 16GB worth of tunes in a tube-like form factor, and it'll be available December 7th 18,000 yen, or roughly $182. Finally, the Walkman parade is rounded out with an update to its waterproof in-ear Bluetooth headphones, doubling capacity to 8GB. When October 19th rolls around, the water-friendly cans will go for 15,000 yen (or around $152). There's no word on when the barrage of new products will make it stateside, but you can dive into the source for more in the meantime.

Lenovo Miix is a watered-down ThinkPad Tablet 2, starts at $500 (hands-on)

Comb through Lenovo's current product lineup, and you'll find a little something for everyone. A Windows 8 tablet for businesses? Check. How 'bout a consumer model? Yep, that too. But hey, you can never have too many, right? After releasing the IdeaTab Lynx tablet, Lenovo is now launching the Miix, a 10-inch model that's also meant to be used with a keyboard. All told, it's sort of like a watered-down ThinkPad Tablet 2, insofar as it has the same rubbery, soft-touch finish and some very similar specs. Chiefly, it has a dual-core Intel Atom processor along with a 10.1-inch, 1,366 x 768 display, 64GB of on-board storage, an optional keyboard case and a battery rated for 10 hours of runtime. The two even weigh about the same: 1.27 pounds for the Miix, and 1.25 pounds for the WiFi-only TP Tablet.

What's missing, of course, are all the goodies that make the ThinkPad more of a premium device -- you know, NFC, mobile broadband and an active digitizer for pen input. Also, whereas the TP Tablet 2 sports dual cameras, the Miix has just a front-facing webcam, and the resolution's been downgraded from two megapixels to 1.3. Expect it to hit shelves in Q3, with a starting price of $500 (that keyboard will cost $49 extra). For now, check out our hands-on photos below.

Fujifilm's X-M1 interchangeable camera leaks out, doesn't mess with retro success

Fujifilm's about to extend its line of mirrorless shooters packing manual dials and vintage looks, if a leak from Digicame Info is to be believed. The Japanese rumor site has flaunted pictures of a purported X-M1 model, which bears a strong resemblance to X-E1 we saw last year, minus the electronic viewfinder and shutter-speed selector dial. In place of the latter is a general mode selector, along with a tiltable LCD screen and WiFi, judging by the pictures above and after the break. While all that points to a cheaper model aimed at more casual shooters, there's no word from the company about specs, pricing or a release date, obviously. As soon as we hear, of course, you'll be the first to know.
